We've worked inside other teams since 2017, in the sprint, the standup, the code review and the incident call at two in the morning. That's been for startups whose roadmap changed weekly, and for Rabobank, Schiphol and Deloitte, where the compliance review took longer than the build.

We know what a client depends on because we've been the person they depended on.

Every product we've shipped since 2023 was built with AI coding tools by our own engineers. We've had the failures: the confidently wrong migration, the generated test that passes and checks nothing, the pull request too long for anyone to read.

Our assessment tests for those failures, the kind that break in production and never show up on a CV.

Every engineer works through two sixty-minute assessments in a real codebase: one on fundamentals with AI tools switched off, and one with their own agents running. Both scorecards are on the site, and you see each engineer's results before you meet them.

How we vet

You get a named account manager in Amsterdam, one for every five engineers, with weekly reporting against your metrics. You talk to the engineer directly, without a coordinator in between. If it's the wrong fit, we replace them at our cost.

Terms, the minimum and what we won't do are all published, and the pricing page compares what an engineer costs with us against hiring locally in your country. Engagements are full-time, with a three-month minimum.

We're ISO 27001 certified and GDPR-compliant, with EU data residency. IP transfers to you on payment. Contracting is DBA-compliant in the Netherlands and IR35-compliant in the UK, and our engineers are employed by us, so nobody is contracted through a personal company.

We don't do part-time placements, someone on site every day, fixed-price builds under twelve weeks, or consulting and transformation programmes. We'd rather say no than be the wrong call, and we'll usually tell you who to ask instead.
