A workspace booking platform for Schiphol
A booking platform that helps professionals and visitors find, book and manage flexible workspaces across Schiphol.
Result
One platform for finding, booking and managing workspaces at the airport, with full admin oversight for Schiphol.
The problem behind the brief
Schiphol wanted to offer flexible workspaces on site, but the existing setup made it hard for visitors and professionals to find and book an office.
Spaces were underused, the booking process was spread across different tools and there was no modern booking infrastructure, which caused friction for hosts and users alike. Schiphol needed one consistent platform that could show available spaces, take hourly and daily bookings and reflect the airport's brand.
How we approached the build
One team covered strategy, design, engineering, working from the same decisions from the first assessment to launch.
Strategy
The strategy turned underused locations into a working marketplace, with a clear roadmap for both the guest and the host experience. The framework had to scale and handle operational complexity while keeping the journey simple and on-brand, with Schiphol in full control of its workspace assets.
Design
The interface is built around clear navigation, simple flows and well-structured content, so people can find listings, compare workspaces and manage their bookings. Hosts get simpler listing creation and booking management.
Engineering
The team built the full technical architecture, front end and back end. The platform covers the whole booking lifecycle: account creation, search, listing pages, hourly and daily booking flows, booking management, user data and an admin environment with oversight of listings, bookings and payments.

What it delivered
Control
Full oversight for the Schiphol team
The admin environment gives Schiphol visibility and control over listings, bookings and payments, so workspace operations on site are transparent.
Scalability
Built to grow across the airport
The platform is a modular framework, so Schiphol can add locations, change booking rules and extend the service to other airport zones without rebuilding the core.
Experience
One journey for guests and hosts
Search, booking and listing management sit in one consistent, on-brand experience for visitors, professionals and hosts.
